Going Back To The Message

At the throes of the church realizing her potential, rogues have taken advantage to abuse the very privilege bestowed upon her.
When Christ issued explicit command to his charges ( the apostles) it was evident what kind of message they were going to carry, starting from Jerusalem to the very far-flung territories as known then. Acts 1:8

Today in the very dispensation we are living in, it’s hard to tell who is right or wrong depending on the convictions one gets, especially from the marauding sanctioned or unsanctioned clergy.
It is therefore important to understand the dynamics of the gospel lest the polarized religious atmosphere inflicts many with the poisonous religious chalice.

Jesus Christ at the very beginning of his ministry made it clear to his apostles that he had been send on a noble cause.
Later when responding to the question his disciples asked, he had this to say “because it’s given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given Matt 13:10.”

Important to note is the fact that is glaring which thus depicts with clarity the cause intended. This is disregarded willy-nilly because of either lack of knowledge or utter ignorance as a result of a mind clouded with the mundane at the expense of a mind that is subjective to the will and intends of God.

I have argued vehemently and without considering imbibing the normal advanced cliche in religious circles; which pushes this notion, that Jesus Christ came to die for our sins. That in itself though well stated in a convincing manner it’s not a pointer to why Jesus came.
I have argued that Christ will not leave the comforts of heaven just to die, he says himself that he was send.
Finding the reason as to why he was send is very noble and paramount than bandying words around.

The messiah came to defeat the enemy, which he could have done regardless. But for this to be viable, he had to introduce a Kingdom message which to many at that hour it wasn’t known to them at all.
I will not get into the details of this argument at this time but will cover that at some stage.
Jesus at no point did he say I have come to die for your sins, but he talks about his Kingdom. And because of this Kingdom he was willing to lay down his life, that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death and that’s the devil Heb 2:14

Looking at the scriptures without religious biases you find out that sometimes our interpretations of the scriptures are absolutely misplaced. He says himself like this “I must preach the Kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I send Luke 4:43.”

He was send to preach the Kingdom of God, and the doctrine wasn’t his but the Fathers, after which he gave charge to the apostles to preach the same, which we see them doing.  Paul says in Colossians that “giving thanks unto Father, which has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the Kingdom of his dear Son. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins col 1:12-14.”

It’s imperative that the message of the Kingdom of God should be preached. People hated this message. Religious leaders ran amock when the essence of the Kingdom was made bare, but they couldn’t figure it, because it is not theologically or politically discerned. It is hid in a mystery. This message landed him to the cross, and through that cross he reconciled us to the Father. Spoiling principalities and powers and triumphing over them in it that is the cross.

“All the messes we are seeing and the religious hanky-pankies bedeviling us today are as a result of sheer lack of grasping the truth about the Kingdom message. Insinuations and innuendos have become the order of the day. The gravity of the debilitating effect is huge and in its wake several casualties have borne the brunt.”

Every cleric out there discoursing the word of God need to understand the very pillars of the Kingdom message and align his sermon on those pillars as did the apostles.
And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come Matt 24:14.” Jesus told his disciples that the gospel of the Kingdom shall be Preached, not prosperity or deliverance gospel or whatever other insinuated one, but rather the one he himself was preaching, upon which his sending is hinged.

“Today few talk or teach about his coming, and the resurrection of the dead. This is because it doesn’t seem appealing, for many are very materialistic to even think of telling folks about his second advent.
The rain started beating us long time, but the restorative agenda is on course, and it’s about time we all went back to the foundational aspects of the gospel, taking upon ourselves the right trajectory.”

Call To Action

“Any battle hardened veteran is privy to what makes a shrewd soldier be lethal to any adversary so keen to destroy. This is also very true in light of the fact that saints are to know the wiles of the enemy, and standing sure like a good soldier.”

“Whereas we got the temerity to execute a devastating blow to the enemy by taking the shield of faith, wherewith we shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the devil, the opposite can be said. We are busy looking in wrong places for answers to the myriad problems that beleaguer us.”

“Most people have been scarred, some have felt that they’re not making strides as rabidly as they thought they would make them. Prayers seems not to be answered, and opinions from those close to us, and friends seem again to suggest that we are in those situations because of things we did wrong somewhere along the path hence jeopardizing the very zeal we had, for we gave ear to the opined emanating from them.”

“We have become so lackluster and mediocre in our push that has resulted in many spiritual casualties. The mundane cannot be fused or amalgamated with the spiritual and be granted a different name. It doesn’t matter how articulate the approach is advanced; it just falls short and remains out of sync and nothing good though well suggested will come out of it, no matter how many times it will be repeated so to speak.”

“We all sit down whine and try all manner of things, but If it’s not in line with the word of God, we are chasing shadows. Most people are lost because the word of God is not in them. They have what they themselves figure out that it should be the word of God. The problem is that; this will turn out to be a mere soothing of emotions instead of taking personal spiritual stock which is necessary. And if that is done without malice one will go back to pray asking for clarity in matters that are misunderstood and misinterpreted.”

“In 2018 a call to action is needed. By all indications it’s a great year no doubt. But everyone of us is responsible or has a duty to make it their great year, or worse year to say the least. Thorny and stick issues that have all along pervaded us at all fronts need to be plucked out. The approaches fronted to leverage us to the spheres of anointing through suggested patterns have to be interrogated. It doesn’t matter if it was a big shot or small shot that advanced the same, what I say is that it must be subjected to the testing by the Spirit of God without bitterness or malice harbored.”

“In this age; there is no room to conjecture an array of issues in order to actualize what is vividly stated in the word of God. We can’t be bent to assist God in dealing with certain situations. We have a role to play which is well laid out. But since man loves finding alternatives as short-gap measures to alleviate and mitigate the sufferings we are faced with all time. Those dire situations don’t look like they’re going to be nipped in the bud by use of these kind of adopted methodology. There is need to look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith when faced with tougher and life threatening matters. This way we shall obtain strength to push through by faith, as we anticipate the turn-around that is much needed though only vocally touted in recent times, but now it will be seen in action.”

“God waited till devout man out of every nation under heaven were gathered in Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost to do the unexpected that confounded they that saw and heard it. To the chagrin of those opposed to certain dynamics, they will want to wish a way the power that defines causes. But this can’t be wished away. Peter and the rest of the apostles after the Holy Ghost experience were called to action and they were not going to look back.”

“What makes us look back is the sheer fact of dread which we harbor. We are afraid of loses that will be incurred since there is a price to pay in this walk. We are stuck in the realm of appeasing all if needs be. We can’t be counted out on anything, neither do we desire to be fully sold-out because we have some habits that we still feel should be left untouched-reason being the indulgence in them is more comforting especially at the hour of frustration. And we truly get it wrong.”

“When the apostles received firm instructions from the Master, they were not looking back to anything or at anything. They waited for the promise, and this brought about such a huge change and they were galvanized around a cause ordained of God  having been chosen as witness before of God in Christ.”

ct 1:4  And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
Act 1:5  For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
Act 1:6  When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
Act 1:7  And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
Act 1:8  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth

“We need to rethink and start from where we lost the sense of spiritual direction to where now we should be. We need demonstrative power, confirmation of what we are saying from the Lord. The same way he did with the apostles. We have rogues among us who disturbed the order, but it doesn’t mean God eliminated what he said. He is still on the throne and knows who are his.”

“Most people are suffering, sick, abused, poor, hurting, captives and in sin-chains, addicted by use of uncontrolled or controlled substance, broken homes, marriages and other host of many things. We need the power of God, being led by his spirit to preach Christ so that those afflicted may able to see the light.”

“It’s a call to action this year. To do something that one has never done before in every segment of our spiritual walk. God is doing something greater for us the church this year.”

“Theological debates, philosophical innuendos geared to mesmerize rather than adding any meaningful value to the already battered faith, will not take us where God wants us to be this year.”

“We can argue and wrestle among ourselves decrying at the same time scores of things that have hamstrung our efforts to realize the much needed potential. If we are not going to have a wake-up call and without hesitation of a sort and swing in action, we are not going to see the much needed strides.”

“No looking back under the unction, this is the year, and it’s time to orient ourselves very much with the things that bring God to action for its all about him and not us.”

“With power, the apostles gave testimony of the resurrection of Jesus, and he was with them backing them up with signs following. He is ready to do it, if we are willing to have him take charge, let’s pave way and get ourselves surrendered to his own will all the time.”

“We have to continue in his word becoming his disciples indeed, knowing the truth and the truth shall make us free.  Free from worries, and any kind of debacles, free from any animosity perpetrated by those bend to wreak havoc against us. We have all that it takes to turn adverse conditions to our advantage in Christ. It’s time  we took heed and availed ourselves to action.”

Step In To Your Destiny

As the year began, anticipation was high over the prospects of a great year to be. I was privileged to have ministered in Lathrop, CA at J.I.C.C led by pastor Peter, and also in Merced, CA Faith Missions pastored by Rev. Wadderburn. The message was almost the same when Rev. Wadderburn preached in his Church as I was at Rev. Peter's in the morning service. Before joining them for the evening service. It was such wonderful day that God synchronized the message. We talked in the service on what God spoke to pastor Peter that 2017 will be the year of 'Divine Freedom' and so, God ministered to us greatly.
You Have Dwelt Long In This Mount
The Lord spoke to the children of Israel in Horeb telling them that they had stayed there longer. It was time to move on. They had spend 38 years there, and 40 years after they exited Egypt they were still encompassing the mountain. Deu 1:6 The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount: Deu 1:7 Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates. Deu 1:8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them. "Just as the children of Israel behaved, by encircling the mountain in their day, scores of folks are still moving around in circles, and staying longer in places they shouldn't be lingering spiritually. Most have been absolutely contend with initial strides they made. Some are still savoring the Red Sea victory, some others are still in the area where a negative report was brought to the Hebrews two years after they had come from Egypt. Song and dance over victory ceased when harsh realities of the wilderness dawned on them."
It is left to a keen observer to fathom that; the Jews or the children of Israel if you would love to refer to them that way, were not prepared for a terrible wilderness. It was for sure, an 11 day journey, but God decides they should change cause. Many a times God has made us change cause in order to equip us for the task a head. Our patience, love, and other spiritual boons are shaped through this kind of experience.
After you come to the Lord, you learn it's a war you will get engaged in. Faith in HIM remains the only thing helping one to stand. 1Co 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 1Co 10:2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 1Co 10:3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 1Co 10:4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. 1Co 10:5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness. 1Co 10:6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. The last verse speaks about these things being examples, to the intent (because we are called) we shouldn't lust after evil things as they did lust.
"If they would have straightaway gone to the promised land, maybe, they wouldn't have known how to comport themselves in the midst of adversity." God allows us to go through certain situations in order to help us realize that we need to keep our trust in him, than, in things we may easily desire to place our trust in.
The children of Israel lacked experience in structured governance; because they had been enslaved by the Egyptians. They only understood hard toils, and being put in elaborate expatiated tirades that demeaned them. The numbers they had were enough to make them bolt from slavery but couldn't do that. And God allowed it to remain so, for them to understand it was by strong hand they came out of Egypt. And he had to teach them, how to become a nation, and him being their leader, this will make them learn ways they never knew about. Bondage was to cease its hold on them with God at the helm. "Sometimes we do fail to understand the capacity we have after many years of sustained enemy's onslaught on the faith we profess. We tend to believe the very things negative forces are telling us. We forget certain victories we gained as a result of the very enormous trust we put in him in the first place."
The children of Israel forgot the great victories wrought by God in the land of slavery. How the Red Sea was parted for them to walk yonder. Manna, that was being supplied to them daily except for twice as much of supply worth on the sixth day, so that on the sabbath day they would rest and worship God. They thought God hated them; and that is why according to them, he had brought them to face death in the wilderness. They murmured and complaint regularly reminiscing foods they ate in Egypt and the graveyards they had there to bury their dead.
"God didn't call us from the world that enslaved us in sin to punish us, to the contrary he loved us enough to give life in abundance through his son Jesus Christ. Spies were send and they spied the land and brought a negative report that was defeatist in nature. They said the land was good, but as a nation which had no experience in war, they were going to be wiped out. God never said that would happen to them. And again they equated themselves to grasshoppers in the sight of the giants they saw. They duly forgot God had turned Egypt into an impoverished nation to make them (Israelites) free. But we still had a duo that stood their ground and told the rest not to sin against God. Their pleas received no respect and fell on deaf ears. God will later intervene on their behalf from -the wrath- of the people -who accepted the negative report. This prompted God to tell them that each day- spied-will be a year of waiting: 40 days, became 40 years, spend in the wilderness, because they wavered in trusting in him. And now a time comes when God remembers his covenant with Abraham; which he promised him concerning his descendants, that he will bring them out of Egypt with a strong hand -to -the -land he was sojourning. He told him that he will punish that nation."
I would say maybe, for long, you have felt like God forgot you, or you will never scale dimensions you once thought you would. You quite feel like you have been going around the circle or marking the time. But I have good news, it's time to enter into your destiny, it's time for recovery of what you lost, it's time for your divine freedom. It's time for your financial breakthrough. Your ministry will go a notch higher than in previous years. Healing and other extraordinary miracles are happening in your life this year. Just as Israel was reminded by God that they had overstayed on the mountain, so are we reminded that we should get in to our destiny.
"Our trust should remain in him, even when most people are giving us negative reports. They will paint not so rosy pictures about our future, but let's remind ourselves of his word that says if God is for us who can be against us. We are more than conquerors in Christ." "There is rest in all fronts, and we are going to see great things happening in our lives that are ordained of God. Let's arise, shine for our glory has come. Every giant that made us feel like grasshoppers, or reports that made us look so much belittled on the face of adversity, will be destroyed and be made to come a cropper. May this year mark a great shift in your spiritual walk with Christ."

God Bless America

I don't have any authority ( other than my calling) to comment on politics especially in the aftermath of a polarizing election. But just as an observer and one that is called to disseminate the truth and desires to know what God is doing; I keenly followed the goings-on in the political arena, especially the intrigues, biases, dialogues, and everything that went on.

My curiosity was overwhelming and though I had a bias like any other person in any given normal circumstances; I had to refrain or simply put - constrain myself from commenting on what I felt best suited the occasion, and just allow myself to hear the voice of God. America was founded on strong values, and still has some of the best ethics to date; albeit facing a strong moral erosion in recent past, "but that doesn't mean all is lost, though on the edge of moral precipice; God has an interest and a big one for that matter in this great country."

At the beginning of the electoral process that pitted several candidates against each other in the party primaries from both sides of the political divide, God spoke to me that Trump will be the next president. I hinted to several people around me about the situation. But my candidate was Hilary. "I admired her then as an astute politician-cum-diplomat that could rally the course of America at ease." And later I hear inside my heart that Trump will be the next president? No, this wasn't what I wanted to hear. If God had not spoken to me on previous elections which I predicted right, I wasn't going to buy this line.

I will try to say something here about intrigues of the time. And the interests and scope of God's modus operandi which most folks miss out big time. America as a country has done well far above any other nation on the planet. That can't be gainsaid; even the naysayers do agree that she has done well. The country has always acted in the best interest of humanity, transcending biases and helping where help was needed most without discrimination. Whether it was Israel or an Arab country or any third world country that needed help at tumultuous time; America was there.

"Many a missionary risked their lives, and immolated whatever little they had home, to cross oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, deserts, and jungles as away of reaching millions in darkness with good tidings of the Kingdom. We can't forget so quick that most of these noble men and women sacrificed a lot, some died in the jungles of africa, and others got sick while trying to better the lives of the uncivilized folks then, bringing huge light to many. It wasn't only in africa they went when flames of revival were fanned, but they traveled the world, from africa to Asia, Australia and Europe, and this in itself was self-immolation." On the government side, it's replicated more glaringly especially by myriad interventions on the international arena. Thousands of her gallant sons and daughters have died while fighting causes that America felt needed to be addressed, in most cases, where regimes brutalizing their citizens was concerned- she came to the aid of thousands that were losing hope of ever being free. That is what makes this county great.

God will not forsake the sacrifices made by America. His hand has been upon this country, even when there has been such a big threat to the nation's moral fabric. With this in mind I started understanding the heartbeat of God, more so when he wants to do something. "Certain gains can't be erased, especially if it involves the deity."

Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Rom 13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
Rom 13:3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
Rom 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

The above scriptures informs me what manner of execution is in place as per the will of God. "And I shouldn't mourn as one that got no hope. When God want's to do something - he - does- it - in accordance with his will, and not by convergence of thoughts as it is in the mundane. That is what changed my perception when I clearly heard from him who the next president would be. When we shove God aside (man got no power to do that) and think we can operate as a country without him being at the helm, then we are absolutely mistaken. When we want to replace what isn't in the frame work of God- we miss the point. And when we change core values as he has stated in his will, then let it be known for a fact that we are attracting his wrath, of which we should be afraid because of the catastrophic consequences when his reaction becomes palpable."

Mr. Trump was plucked from obscurity, he had no political experience, just a shrewd businessman. He never served in the military. An outsider with little political knack about what happens in Washington. He isn't entrenched in the political culture of Washington. When God wants to do something he picks the least expected folks, to shame the wise on their leanings and thoughts. When he wanted to clean the mess caused by both Ahab and Jezebel he ordered Elijah his servant who was crying to be retired by God; to head back and anoint three people. "Anoint Hezel to be King over Syria, and Jehu the son of Nimshi to be king over Israel: and anoint Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah to be a Prophet in your place." This illustrates the divine propensity associated with God himself. He wanted to clean up the mess and he chose men that were not going to compromise; neither were pro-establishment for simple reason that his work was not going to be compromised in any way. Jezebel did try to paint herself and entice Jehu, but he will hear none of what she said.

There is too much cleaning that needs to be done, for this country to claim her high moral jurisdiction. And at the same time God is preparing the church for the great awakening. If that is to happen God has to choose a candidate that will be able to execute his will, not by design or fluke, on the contrary it's because he has made it so.

Most people bought in to the hype disseminated by the scribes, that clouded a clear portend which would have given people an inkling in to the dealings of God. And this brings frustration on the part of the people that believed everything the main stream media fed them. "Accuracy of anything can only come from him that is infallible, and it's only God - who will never go wrong. Trust-in - human beings that are immortalized by some can be devastating, especially when a lot of faith has been put in them. A great lesson to learn is this: never put your trust in anything or anyone or individuals, but in God who never disappoints.

Always find the will of God even when the tide seems to be against the conventional, and in rare cases where people have so much faith in things that seem to provide a better alternative. It is prudent to listen to that small still voice in the midst of the political din and rhetoric, what God is doing.

All will be well and the country will move on. And God's plan will be executed. God has proved pundits and scribes wrong and that is a major wake-up call. If we say God Bless America, and we mean it. Then we are asking God to intervene, and unless it is the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob we attribute that to and ascribe the saying to him, then that is a different story. But if it's him, he will do his will the way he deems it right, not the way we want to see it. That is why I say we need to understand the heartbeat of God: and not of the nation, people or the scribes and opinion shapers. May God bless America, and let the light of God so shine as nations of the world are impacted by what God is doing. It's a great awakening, real revival is here.

Growth Is Essential

Nobody can fathom the mind of God, but we can be made to understand his will. And for that reason, us that have surrendered our lives to him ( Christ) that is the author and finisher of our faith stand a better position to grasp his will. Time to fight over faith, and raft of beliefs will get us no where. Consigning God to our traditional gospel exegesis won't make us smarter in our theological thoughts and inclinations. Revelatory propensity whose architects tend to limit God in his dealings will always miss crucial leads and points.

Maturity is required in all aspects. There isn't anyone that has it all or knows it all. "Unique as our abilities-through his gifts will dictate-we still need to advance in his will. We can't limit his power, we can't relegate him to dimensions that we think he does operate in." As we grow in him, we stand a better chance of becoming the recipients of the revelatory aspects that appertain to his Kingdom.

Christ wasn't understood; they couldn't; not when they saw things through the prism of flesh, and traditions which most of them spend time learning. We spend time arguing about who is right and who isn't. In most cases, we entirely engage in spiritual trivialities, which hold no water, and means absolutely nothing when it comes to understanding God's will.

In the book of mark; we do see clearly the intent of John and some others, who believed that it was only them and the company that were mandated to execute Christ's will. "For they came across one casting demons like them and they forbade him, simply because he didn't belong to their company."

Mar 9:38 And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. Mar 9:39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. Mar 9:40 For he that is not against us is on our part. Mar 9:41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

This shows us with a lot of credence for a fact that they still didn't grasp the full intent of God. Many still don't grasp the intents of Christ. "We therefore need to advance beyond dimensions we are operating in, so that we can be able to see clearly by application of eye salve purchased from him." There are dimensions we need to start operating in, especially those that make us sit with Christ in heavenly places. It's not about who can preach so well, or teach well, or who runs a mega-church, or has the most sought-after ministry; rather one that has an ability to walk with Christ daily. "And in the same breath overcoming such things as those that hamper spiritual growth; the very things that quench the spirit, and the same one that is truly a lover of God."

Anytime we start operating within the confines of religious dogmas, and feeling more superior than others. Then we will find out that we are missing the point big time."John attests to this in his gospel when he does say; that he came to his own and his own received him not: but as many as received him; gave he the power to become the sons of God. He is now aware of some things that were literally not exposed to him prior to Christ ascendency, and the coming of the spirit of God to In-dwell them that believed on him."

This is the time to know God intimately. "Once we make strides in aspects expected of us: we shall therefore come to understand the mystery of his will in the gospel handed to us. And we shall contend for the faith that was once delivered to the apostles and which also is delivered to us." We have to prioritize this, and give it the attention it deserves. Only immature people engage in fights, rivalry, and certain challenges aimed at seeing who is better than the other. Children do this all the time as they grow, but they that have come of age engage not in such things that are equated, and seen to belong to babes."

"Let's therefore grow in him. And become responsible saints, who are ready to scale spiritual heights without being antagonized by negative propensities designed to derail any advancement in the spheres of power. Growth is vital, and when we don't grow, it is evident that something is wrong somewhere."

Giving Up-No-Not You

One of the challenges of being a Christian is keeping up your faith in the midst of scores of assaults emanating from the enemies camp. The assailant is very furious, and determined to disrupt that level of faith; "which if it goes unchecked, could cause him (the enemy) devastating harm, hence he tries to render it ( faith) null and void."

Jesus started his ministry, at a time when many peoples' level of faith had deteriorated to alarming levels. "It was also compounded with a teaching that seemed to cast a dark shadow over the faith Jewish patriarchs once held. Though the nation of Israel had a streak of unbelief, we still read more about the great faith with which  some of their patriarchs displayed, who had faith in God, and they got for themselves a place in the entire chapter of the book of Hebrews which literally speaks more about faith."

"One of the greatest aspects Jesus instilled in his disciples was the art of believing God without doubting, a hard task; given the fact that during those days he was with them, his disciples were not filled with the Holy Spirit." He had to teach them not to lean on their understanding. Most of us today lean on our understanding. We cry desperately for help, but at the same time, "we got our own ways and methodology we use when trying to solve things-we tend to think needs our-machinations, when indeed God is waiting for us to put our trust entirely on him."

Having toiled the whole night, Christ requested to use Peter's vessel or boat. He told him to withdraw it from the land, and spoke to Peter from his vessel which he had converted to his pulpit, after that he told Peter- "launch out into the deep, and let your nets for a draught or a haul." And Simon or Peter answering said-"Master, we have toiled all night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless, at thy word I will let the net." Luke 5:1-5. Notice he says at your word, and he declares I will let my net instead of nets. I don't want to talk on the subject of the nets. I will zero in on aspects of the word, especially the one the Lord gives with clear instructions.

Having heard him speaking, though of the two ships he chose one that belonged to Peter, there was a clear intend on the part of Christ, that signified faith-building in situations that are dire. And how important not to give up hope even in the very difficult of moments. "When we find ourselves in similar circumstances and we hear his voice, then we need to act upon the instructions conveyed to us. Had Peter failed to do what he was told, (though through his expertise in fishing he was unable to get fish) for Christ might have spoken to the fish to hide till he tells them to get in to the net, he would not have had such a great encounter that made him bow at the feet of Christ; and subsequently telling Jesus to depart from him, for he was a sinful man."

Jesus told Peter not to fear because from that time on he shall catch men and not fish; and the Bible says he forsook all and followed Christ. Giving up is for the fearful, but the bold, will always summon courage to fight on until help arrives. We have constantly seen how God always came through when least expected, and salvaged his, from situations that bedeviled them, especially, when it all looked bleak. Some lean on the expertise or knack acquired over the years. And some lean on aspects that seems to show some ray of hope according to their own underestimating, nevertheless, none of it will be of great help. It's only when our faith remain in God, that we can be able to triumph against all odds, defying the norm, and that which is conventional, "and this will bring about a testimonial which ascribes glory and honor to God, hence making the faith of many to be build-up in Him that is the giver of life."

Every one got their low moments, and we get tried in many fronts. In all these, God allows situations like this to take place so that he sees as to whether we can trust him enough, or we will fall by the way side because our belief system has been shaken. Even Abraham was given a son in his old age, and God tested him to see whether he was willing to lay down his son as a sacrifice. When journeying to Mt. Moriah; Isaac his son asked his father where the sacrifice was- because he saw the fire and the wood but no animal sacrifice. This drew curiosity on his son's part, making him wonder aloud at this strange act. The father in his rejoinder said "the Lord shall provide," Yes even today the Lord shall provide in needy areas.

We need not to stagger at the promises made to us in the word of God. It doesn't really matter how great the storm is, we are going to tell the storm how great our God is, and we know for sure he is the stiller of storms. Whether it be sickness, or financial situations or any other situation rearing its ugly head, we know for a fact "He is the God of all flesh and nothing is too hard for him." Let's continue trusting in him, even when help isn't seen in sight, he will not forsake us, he will for sure come through, and salvage us at the least expected moments.

So are you giving up? Oh not you, you're a child of God, oh no a son of God. As many as received him, he gave them the right, power, privilege to become the sons of God. So if Christ is in you then you're a son of God, you have been given power to become a son of God. "And no son of God can afford to doubt his Father, but believe that he is, and he is the rewarder of them that seek him diligently." Walk like a son and behave like a son and not like a stranger to the promises of God. Against hope, hoping that everything God has spoken to you shall surely come to pass."

Inclining Your Ear To Wisdom

A Few Things I Have Learned After I Lend My Ear To Wisdom

1-Never act desperate when going through a trial; for if you do, you give the enemy a chance to destroy you.

2-Never utter anything that will make you regret later especially when angry; for when you have sobered up, you will be looking for a place to hide.

3-Never answer your detractors or critics, for by so doing, you give their allegations credibility. Try not to seek validation, or sympathy, it's only God who can validate you.

4-Rejoice when you have more haters than admires; for haters or detractors are there because you're doing something valuable which themselves can't do. Even Christ was hated by many. Simple rule; march on to your destiny and ignore the noise.
. And
5-It's hard, but do it; love those who use you or are spiteful. Love your enemies and hate them not, they're there for your growth, without them, you will never scale certain levels. Seek not vengeance, for vengeance is God's.

6-If you want to know that you're making progress, then it will be palpable at a time when you're under attack, and also when people talk evil of you, and you're not moved, but in spite of all that you're able to smile and calmly bless them - this is a great pointer you're overcoming. And that shows you for sure how grown you're.

7-Charity, or Love will conquer anything the enemy has vowed to use to bring you down, and forgiveness is a strong weapon that eliminates bitterness; if you're not bitter with anyone, life, world or the past, then you have silenced the enemy and out of your spiritual well will come forth life!
